Information you provide: your name, email, and details about the business you’re forming — such as company name, address, owners/members, and the state of formation.
Filing information: data required by government agencies to complete your filings, which may include tax identifiers you supply.
Payment information: processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
Usage & device data: basic analytics such as pages visited and approximate location, collected with privacy-friendly tooling.

2. How we use information

To prepare, submit, and track your filings with the relevant agencies.
To provide compliance reminders, registered-agent service, and customer support.
To process payments and prevent fraud or abuse.
To improve the Services and communicate with you about your account.

3. How we share information

We share information only as needed to deliver the Services:

Government agencies, to make the filings you request.
Service providers (e.g. payment processing, registered-agent partners, email and analytics) who process data on our behalf under contract.
Legal reasons, when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
Business transfers, if Filerra is involved in a merger or acquisition, subject to this Policy.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies & analytics

We use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in and to understand aggregate usage with privacy-respecting analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; some features may not work without them.

5. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal and recordkeeping obligations (filings often must be retained for years), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. To exercise these rights, email privacy@filerra.com. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in the email.

7. Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards — including encryption in transit — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll post the new Policy here and update the date above, and where appropriate notify you by email or in-app.
